The next day we decided to keep it easy for most of the day and after Ryan handled some work stuff, we decided to head out to a local Mexican Restaurant (oddly enough, Glenwood Springs, and Colorado in general seems to be known for its Mexican food) named Tequila's. We got some delicious food there, and Skyped with Zwack and Rosas before heading back to our hotel to switch into our swimsuits because it was BATH TIME. Well, actually, HOT SPRINGS TIME.
Actually, the WORLDS LARGEST NATURAL HOT SPRING SWIMMING POOL TIME!
We're talking a 133 Degrees Fahrenheit pool (we admittedly weren't quite prepared for water that hot), and a very relaxing 104 degree pool.
These hot springs were gigantic! Like, amazingly ginormous, like... enormous! Think an extra large olympic pool. It was actually big enough, that people were swimming laps in the pool sideways rather than lengthwise.
After dropping off our stuff at our hotel we decided to go out for some drinks downtown. After walking around for a while, and essentially being unsure of where we wanted to go, we almost accidentally walked into a biker gang club house! After realizing that it wasn't a public bar, we walked a little bit further and went into Doc Holliday's, a local bar named after the legendary gambler, gunfighter and, of course, dentist.
This place was sweet, because, decor and stuff, and, well, beer.
After Doc Holliday's, we went back to our now-local spot the Glenwood Springs Brew Pub, and hung out with our new bartender-friend Andrea, before going back home to our honeymoon suite, snuggling up with some wine, turning on the fire and watching a movie. No more details for you guys!
